Imagine living with your husband and two kids for 9months away from home, moving from one place to another.. That's been and still is my life since October 2011. My hubby who is an Aircraft Engineer, has been assigned various projects and we've been tagging along. A month in Concorde Inn, Sepang then off to Sandakan, Sabah for 4 months. Then another month or so at Sepang. Then a month in Miri, Sarawak and a week in Labuan, of course interspread with off days. Currently we're in Miri but soon we'll be heading back to KL and then back to Sandakan.. We were supposed to be in Labuan but plans got changed. Thank God for that or we would have been in Labuan when the tanker explosion tragedy occured.
The plus point of this extended holiday is that we got the opportunity to live in East Malaysia, which is a beautiful place. At one point, so taken in were we that we even contemplated moving to either Kota Kinabalu or Miri.
My little Cupcake turns 4 next year and it's time to send her to preschool. Being a SAHM, I do spend time teaching her but I truly believe that all I do at the stage is expose her to the material and everything else are purely her achievements. She has learned the alphabeth, knows her phonics pretty well, counts well to 25, colous inside the lines and can connect the dotted lines pretty well. She can recognize many words and can easily pair them with them with the picture. She constructs grammatically correct sentences and is never hesitant to voice her opinions as is the nature of toddlers..I could go on but my main point today is to ramble about my hunt for 'THE' preschool for my daughter. She absolutely loves to socialise especially with other kids so we decided to send her next year.
Right, so now we have the choice of looking for a preschool anywhere. I've kind of narrowed it to Kelana Jaya, Setia Alam, Puchong or Kota Kemuning. Ha,ha,ha talk about a broad narrow. Well, I'll share more info about the preschool we encounter as I go along..
